Oh, you are so correct about that...      (Typing with a red face.)

I profusely apologize for overlooking your gorgeous entry ToTheSummit, but not for being lippy.

And I'm still going to make the prize slab an optional material.

And still post a cab today.  I'm still doing that too.

I wish I were able to disguise what a giant goober I am but alas, I am not!

OK, here is my entry.  Even though I am not thrilled with it, it was the plan for this contest.  Red Jasper and what I think is Hematite but it undercut to the jasper really badly in the larger patches.  I waited until the sun was at a horrible angle to further enhance the quality of my photo.  -.-

The end cut from this rough

Fun contest... hmm, still a week and a half or so until the end of the month.

I think I can do it!  (Plan for weekend... set!)

Oh wow I thought that material looked good in slabs, now seeing it cabbed I realize IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cab contest is over on 3 days.  :)  I can't decide if I should post pics of the slabs now or wait for voting to further extend the suspense.  :D

Ok then...  I tried to select a variety of options.  The winner of this contest will be able to choose from the following:

I took pics of the slabs wet and dry, but only one side.

AZ Serpentine, self collected

IDontKnowite- It's hard, like granite but I never did find out what it is, I bought the rough because I liked the contrasting colors

IDontKNow Jasper- came from a friend who picked it out of a family members driveway in Utah

Brecciated Crazy Lace

Rainforest Jasper
