If that doesn't work you could try an rtv silicone it's what you use for making gaskets in automotive type applications . So it won't get eaten by oil.

When you know how to fix equipment it can save you lots of money.  I struggle with the equipment maintenance part of lapidary.  Trial and error and of coarse advice from the forum.  It has saved me many a dollar.

Its killing me, wife wont let me use our walkway bricks i kept from the house next door when they removed them and went to toss em.
one foot squares, they would work perfect and i can cut with 4 gallons rather than 8. need four more gallons (or more who knows yet)
i want to CUT.

something about seeing into a rock, knowing I am the very first human to EVER look inside it.

throw in some plastic milk jugs full of water; the oil will want to float so they should sink.

Set in its new home.

Poured in four gallons of fresh oil, think i need four more atleast even with the bricks (12x5x1) taking up space on the opposite side of the blade..

I need to pour in atleast three more gallons to be safe.
I really want to try it out, but not wanting to run it with the oil low, im not taking a chance messing it up.

Patience is a virtue.
Will purchase some more oil after pay day and fire it up. maybe even rewire it before i get electrocuted in the rain cutting.

Get that bucket sliced up and I just might show you where good gold is up there. ( there are those who know, I do know where to find gold at Blewett ).  But unlike some  leprechauns who give out advise freely, I do have a fee.  But again, it's nice to know your saw is performing so nicely. . maybe you would like to test it out on  some of my stones before you take chances with yours though. Just a thought.
