Washington variolite pendant
« on: October 08, 2014, 09:58:58 PM »

This rough came from a parcel of variolites that I bought from Good Earth last year, about 200 lbs worth.  I'm just starting to cut them and looking forward to making lots of beads from them.

Nice one! You ever split that big one? It's funny those odd colored ones turned up for about a month and after you got them all, I haven't found another one worth cutting!

Isn't that stuff cool. It's softish and easy to work.
But great variation of markings and lines.
Those pebbles are offered to him on his beach...Isn't that Awesome!

Just as easy to look at the second time around. Your stuff should be put on a timer so it pops up every so often.
