Dysart beach rock
« on: September 25, 2018, 06:37:08 PM »

just north of Kirkcaldy on the east coast of Scotland. Has an array of subtle colours and patterns. Passes the scratch test with stainless steel so quite hard. Smells a bit like clay when wet? Stab in the dark for corpolite? Thanks for having a look.

Washington is a great place to be a rockhound, it says on the 75 best Washington rockhounding images on pinterest and your right it looks crazy. The things i'm picking up here pale in comparison to the likes of petrified wood, tourmaline melon, poppy and tahoma jasper. Everydays a school day i'm off to have a look at Washington State rocks.
Cheers...
