What a cool shaped Montana.  It's almost ... dare I say ... sexy.   :icon_sunny:

There are many beautiful agates, but I think it's those things or scenes "floating" in a mist that attract me.

A bit of lemon and pepper for you folks, this will look nice once it's been tumble-polished.

Beautiful! Can I ask what grit it already was done to and what grits you tumble and polish it with? It already looks very nice! I love the color.

It's sanded to 8k on SiC paper, and I'm not sure yet! I'm getting close to having enough agate to do my first tumbling and when the club reopens I'll be asking there.

I made this pendant quite awhile ago...montana and blue holley...

edit: i don't know how to get the photo higher resolution, but if you click it it seems better quality...i havent cleaned te pendant for awhile so looks a little unevenly oxidized, but you get the point :)

The materials are so good together, and the design graceful and harmonious. Beautiful piece, good for everyday or dress up.😸

Great work.  I love the concept of the double ring for movement vs going with a hinge, much cleaner and ties in with the bails nicely.  Excelent

thanks so much for the kind words...it was one of the first things I made years ago :)  I love montana, probably one of my top 3 favourite
materials to cab, and always want to use it in my work

At some point, most lapidaries seem to get bitten by the Montana Agate bug. It is my turn!
