And actually, a comprehensive list of all the stones that bleach in the sun would be incredibly helpful. If this topic is already listed somewhere, and I'm sure it is at this point, just point me in the right direction?  :icon_salut: :icon_sunny:

I've had a big hunk in the sun for over six months and so far seems to hold its color. 

Stones i,ve seen loose color in the sun is, gem silica, amythist and rose quartz.

Larimar is reputed to lose colour though I've not observed it myself. I wondered whether it was dehydration that was the risk rather than light.

Also Iolite

Opal dries, loses fire & crazes

The sun over time will bleach any stone although this can take hundreds or thousands of years.   I would say lepidolite is safe for a lifetime.
