Silver Sheen Obsidian

This piece has a great pattern in the top half and I tried to show the sheen on the bottom. 3 1/4”

Yowza!  That's a gorgeous sphere and you did capture the sheen on the bottom.  I can actually see the different coloring on the bottom.  Great job!

 Lovely! I love when silver sheen has those wavy bands, but can almost never find it like that. Good job showing that off so well.

Cool. Turned out great.  Was that a piece I gave you last year from Davis Creek?  If it is I need to do a piece of it, I haven’t sphered any of it.

No this one is from one of our club members, I did sphere the one you brought to quartzite I believe my daughter decided she wanted it.

 Good for her. I went out and pulled a couple of pieces out of the pile. I think I will cut them. I don’t think I have much left big enough to sphere

Holy hell! That's certainly more interesting than the almost black matrixes you see with silver sheen. The lighter coloured obsidian is always a treat to see.
