geothermal  vent casing, very common in the coastal range of Oregon.

 just very rare to find.
UN-less your from Valesiltz Oregon. and your looking for Zeolites.

just ciewing the images and looking at rough arsenic trisulfide images. your piece really looks like it though tumbled and smoothed out a bit.
The crystaline surface & identical colors.

I've cut that material before, but never knew were it comes from. It had a hard suffer smell and though was soft was rather stable material.

   It was definitely Orpiment and I gave it to a friend. It was not from the Oregon site where Ocean Breeze jasper is mined.  thanks to all,  neal
