Hello from Southern California

Hi, my name's Eugene and I'm fairly new to rockhounding and lapidary work. Living here in Los Angeles we always have to cross the desert to get out of the city and visit other places. I always wondered what was out there and now I know—rocks! :) Looking forward to learning about this neat hobby.
