Hello everyone,

I'm a novice rockhounding snowbird. I live in Bend,Or. in the Summer and Phoenix in the Winter. I'd like someone to help me identify things that I find and help me with locations to look. Thanks

Welcome from out past Antelope! Rocks are everywhere in our part of the state :) the local rock clubs and the summer rock shows are also great places to meet like-minded folks and get good tips on where to go for rock. Have you been to Richardson's yet? They can probably give a hand with local material ID as well.

Dang - your interest and locale are perfectly matched; and you are pretty much in the middle of rockhound heaven.  Have fun hounding and welcome to the forum.
