I really like the medium sized polyps.  I got several good chunks of this material and love the patterns and random polyp colors.  I tried to clean the guy out when he told me it was $2.00 a lb for rough.  Ended getting a lot of it for $1 per lb.  Such great material to cut.  I love the shape of this one it reminds me of a clam shape, very organic.

Nice.  I was just handling a piece of this today, but held off on cutting it.  I was motivated to ponder it because I had just finished a petosky stone, and a piece of sharkskin coral (also Indonesia?), comparing them to a piece of fossil coral rough that was reported by the vendor to have come from Alaska.  I'm on a coral rampage, but each is so distinct.

Nice shape!  I love it! I have some of this material, but it doesn't seem to have as much variation in color, unfortunately.
