Tube agate with Sagenite, location unknown, help
« on: September 28, 2019, 09:35:08 AM »

I have no idea where this stone came from. I thought it was from material I collected in Montana years ago. Since I am now selling it I was hoping to get a location if someone else may have seen similar material and know where it came from. If not, hope you enjoy the pics.

Love what you've done with that! Spectacular.

The black sagenite with white coated tips I've seen both in Million Dollar Hill and Arco sagenites. Both are held in colorless chalcedony. Recall a few slices from somewhere around Prineville, too, but didn't find exactly where it was dug. Don't know much about Montana sagenite, though.

Wow, that is amazing!  Can't help with an ID, but I love it.  I don't think anyone looking at it will care where it's from.  It's too awesome!   :WEEEE:

There is a tube agate dig near Coyle spring in the Ochoco forest east of Prineville,I am not aware of any having the black dendrites. :Digging:

Looks like tube agate from the Carey/Arco area in Idaho.
