Here's a work in progress.  Deadline 10/30!
Swarovski competition.
Some of the edge crystals on top refused to let themselves be included in the photograph...

Are we allowed to ask how many hours you have in your creations from the initiation of the concept to completion? Are they in your mind's eye initially or do you sketch them?

I don't always sketch out my designs - in fact 95% of my designs sit in my minds eye and as I create them they can morph in different directions depending on how the muse moves me.

I have about 12 hours just into the piece in the picture and that is only the focal for the necklace.

I really like it, Amanda.  It's different from your other pieces -- almost Victorian.  It will be another excellent entry!

I agree with Robin, it does have a historical feel; it's a gorgeous design and color pallet! It does capture the eye and hold it, moving from one design element to the next.

I agree it does have a bit of a historical feel.
I'm calling the piece, "Autumn Sunset."

Updated pics.
Letting the glue set while I head off to see my Husband's therapist this afternoon.
When I get back I can work on edging each component.

Well it is finally finished!
I will take the contest photos tomorrow in Natural Sunlight.  These are just photos taken under my Studio lighting showing the piece when I finished it.
The earring picture is blurry, but at this hour of the night, steady hands are not happening...

You have outdone yourself with this one!  It makes my eyes hurt thinking of all those little beads.
Great use of color and design.
Thanks for sharing and good luck with the contest

Great use of color and design.

That is exactly what I am hoping the folks at FMG think as well as it is one of their judgement criteria for picking the finalists and for the final judging picking for gold, silver, and bronze medals.

Thank you everyone for all the comments.

I do have a magnifier I sometimes use when I'm working with the size 15 seed beads.  I don't need it for the size 11 or larger beads but those size 15 can be tricky little buggers.
