Love those cookie monsters!  I have been saving this Bruneau for a special pendant.  I won't bias you by stating what it appears like to me, but what does it look like to you?

Here's one...what do you see?????
Grey Lace Agate from Calder, Tasmania
p.s..ignore the funny 'white flashes'. I was trying to bounce light by using foil and it didn't quite work.  :undecided:

No guesses????
I see a cockatoo flying over a dried up billabong(billabong is an untouched natural surface that dips into the cab) and my friend saw the snake in the cloud about to clutch the cockie out of the air!

@irockhound  I absolutely adore your Montana from the first page. It looks like one of those frilly sea fish cruising over the seabed looking for nomnoms.

When you are Canadian, everything looks like a maple leaf!

Definitely a maple leaf even from the southern half I see it.  Great piece of Teepee canyon by the way.

Definitely a maple leaf even from the southern half I see it.  Great piece of Teepee canyon by the way.

Found it in a local rock pile of several large estates from the U.S. that were bought and trucked over in the 1980s. Lots of material from the PNW, but also some from FL, NJ, MI, AZ and NM. This would be the first SD material I ever found there.

The skin of the round nodule looks gritty and bumpy, like some thundereggs (you can see a hint of it in the background). This is different from Teepee or Fairburn rough I am seeing online - it all looks river tumbled.

The interior colors are similar to Dryhead but Dryhead has a Dark Brown Matrix on them and the lighter matrix is Teepee.  Take a picture of the backside of one.

Steve, have a look and let me know what you think. It was a large, round nodule with some bumps.

Could this be Mexican instead?
