3” rhodonite from Northern California

Other side. It had a white crystal like color in the rock
I had a hard time getting the correct color

Really nice color contrasts in that sphere with the black, pink and white. Do you know where in Northern California it is sourced?

I sure do. I dug it out of the ground.
It’s the spider rhodonite claim owned by the San Francisco club. I was invited on a field trip a couple of years ago. They may do another this summer. I am trying to get invited again
