My new find in my region of Australia, orange jasper in magnetite, I have never seen jasper this bright here, could be coloured by hematite ?.

Thanks, it’s in quite steep country, but I can take my old 4wd 3/4 of the way, it’s only about 1 mile from my house.

Iron reds in jasper become more saturated like this when the particle size is very small. Nice.
