Life goes in circles.  There was a time some 60 years ago when I was excited that I got to spend hours in the seat of a not so dissimilar machine (doing adult work as a boy). After several years of prolonged but intermittent exposure to that seat and as I finished high school, my mom told me to work hard to get into and stay in college (otherwise my seat would be attached to that seat fulltime for the rest of my life).  So motivated, I studied and even went to grad school and on to many experiences not involving tractors.
Now dutifully retired with a big rustically landscaped yard and some acreage of undeveloped desert vegetation, such a machine is again attractive and could even be considered desirable. I've come full circle (but still without a tractor).
As we say in the bicycle world, enjoy the ride.

I grew up in tiny crappy apartments in the city. I have had tractors for about 20 years now and they have saved my back , literally, and are a little fun too.
