My latest
« on: December 09, 2017, 12:38:21 PM »

This is my latest attempt at wire wrapping. The first I did outside of a class.

Bought grooving bit for the glass grinder that I bought at last years silent auction ($15) at our lapidary club. This is a first for that also.

Wife is wearing this to a mineral club Christmas party this evening.

Cab is from a block of Utah Dendritic JaspAgate bought in 2015 at the Kino Sports Complex show in Tucson.

Looks good. Cutting a grove with the glass grinder and the groove cutting but is a piece of cake isn’t it

Very pretty, Jerry.  She'll get a lot of compliments on that, I bet.

Yes, it is a piece of cake. Was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to control.  Also pleased with how sturdy the grooving bit is.

Good to hear the grooving bit works so well. What brand did you use? That's a great alternative to glue-on bails.
