3 1/2" Gary green jasper from mcdermitt. The trip that Sandsave and I did in June. This is from a rock that was laying on the ground. No digging lol

Looks like some alien planet with swirling atmosphere. Gotta love the pieces that some people set aside or just step over on their way to do the digging :grin:

Yea I really like this.  I have been thru Mcdermitt so many times I lost track.  Hit a cow just outside of Mcdermitt in the middle of the night.  Cow run off and I limped into the city.  A new headlight and away I went.  This was in the pre lapidary days.

I have one preformed that is a light green that I need to hand
Grind and get into the saw. The machines and rocks are going to have wait a couple of weeks. Heading out Saturday to go elk hunting than the next week it is pronghorn antelope. There is some rock in the antelope area that I may try to get some of.
