I am looking for Tahoma Jasper from Mt. Rainier in Washington state. Either rough or slab.

Why are you looking for the Tahoma Jasper?

I have ONE large piece mined decades ago that I have never cut.   So, it may be a total dud or worthy of greatness.  Perhaps it is time to visit the saw or for the ancient piece to go to a collection intact.  I am curious as to why you ask as it is a rarely seen or noted stone....

Someone on the old forum actually owned, or was friends with the guy who owned the Tahoma Jasper claim.  I want to say Mossyrockhound, but I cannot remember correctly.  I am having major brain fog issues with my Autoimmune disorder lately.

Hi Redrummd, Two simple reasons, one I would like a nice slab for my collection and second a polished face chunk. I am willing to spend a little plus postage. Hope you are willing to part with some.

Hi Redrummd, Thinking more about the Tahoma. How big is the Whole piece weight wise and would it fit on an 18"? I would take half or the whole thing if you  would rather not cut it. I am sure we could come to terms that would be agreeable to us both.

I am buried in work now and will be until October with three shows and nothing new finished......  I want to take photos of the piece as the guy who found it on Mount Rainier but did not indicate it was Tahoma agate.   If I think of it when I have my camera in the shop I will take photos.  It is a very interesting big piece and a real agate banding and all, probably 8 to 10 pounds and no visible flaws.
