Sales Policy - 50 post Minimum

You've all been on forums where a person comes on, posts something for sale, leaves, only comes back to post other things for sale, and never contributes to the forum as a whole with shared knowledge.  Some of you may know of incidents from other forums where folks came onto a forum (s) and then sold stolen property on the forum.

Rules have been laid down to hopefully prevent these things from happening on this forum.

1) You MUST have a minimum of 50 posts to post anything for sale in this forum.  No exceptions. 
2) Anyone listed as "Newbie" under their name won't even see this forum area.
3) If you hit 50 posts, and then only post here selling stuff and don't make any more effort to contribute to the forum, administration will institute disciplinary action.
4) Rapidly posting nonsense or one or two word replies to posts to get yourself to fifty posts fast is considered spam, and you will be disciplined accordingly.
5) If we get reports of transactions that are not being honestly completed, you will be disciplined accordingly.

We are doing an experiment and making this section of the forum visible to everyone including those with less than fifty posts.  This means you can buy something off another member who has posted something for sale or trade with another member if you have less than 50 posts.  However if you have less than 50 posts and you post an item for sale, your posting will be removed.

i went in and edited the settings using the classic admin panel.
Members with less than 50 posts can reply to topics, view topics and all the images inside those ads and auctions.
They are denied permissions to make new topics within the ads area however.

Its not meant to be mean, its that we wish to have members here that want to take part in the other areas steadily and not use the forum here to profit from the site by only posting personal sales and only sales..

if you are a long time member with good feedback on the old forum and wish to have an ad for sale, please message one of us admins and we can (after checking post count on the old place) change your post count to 50 to enable you the ability to post a for sale or wanted ad here.

No brand new unknown members are illegible for post count alterations whatsoever. please let us all get to know you first by posting.
