Quartz cataclasite

Found out what this material is called. It is called a cataclasite. Finally got around to slabbing some up. Much nicer than I was expecting.  Found it in green, purple and a mix of the two. Here is the rough:

Interesting stuff! Looks like it would have a lot of texture or variation in hardness.

Cool brecciated material.  Is it fairly well cemented together?
