Title: Hello from Ohio
Post by: Rocknbarr on March 17, 2019, 01:43:50 PM
I stumbled across this forum while looking for information on saw blades of all things. I am rather new to the lapidary end of rocks, although I have been in the “rock” business for a few years - selling crystals and minerals, etc., some cut and polished, some naturals.
My wife and I (more her, actually) also make a lot of jewelry to sell. It has become quite the retirement business, but I have wanted to get more hands on with making beautiful things from rough stone. I did have a flat lap awhile back, and while it was fun to use, it was a pain to stop, change discs, and get started again, so I am waiting on delivery of a CabKing now.
Will probably read lots of the posts for advice and tips, saw several good ideas already.
Just glad to be here really.
Thanks for having me.
