Jhon, the pictures don't do it justice.  There is a lot of purple in this one but it just doesn't show very well.  See you soon.

Very interesting. I have bought from Indonesia with no problems but their slabs are cut thin but then again thin slabs are too common here as well.

I love the material just wish the cutters making slabs over seas didn't try to make all the cuts on an undersized saw by hand.  No controls on thickness or flat cuts.  Glad to see some larger pieces coming out.

Its sad the camera couldn't show the true colors.  Sandsave can testify to the beautiful color.  There are purples and violent colors there.

Really interesting material there.  Perfect medium for showing palm root in 3D.

You realize it's not actually palm root though right?

Caddis fly larvae in agate.

"silverhilllapidary Larval Tube Agate from Indonesia
They call it Palmwood or Palmroot but in fact this is a fossilized portion of massive Caddis Fly larval tube bundles preserved and fully agatized. We are working to call this Larval Tube Agate as Palmwood is very misleading."

I think Fossilized Caddis Fly is OK too for name.

I had heard that but It was sold to me as Palm root and everyone still calls it that.  I think its easier to remember Palm root then it is Caddis fly larvae.  Either way its beautiful and I like it.

Caddis fly larvae in agate...wow.  That begs the question, has anyone yet discovered beehives in agate?

Yes but you don't want to misrepresent this material to your clients and buyers since then they continue the problem to their buyers.

It's NOT petrified palm root so knowingly ignoring this is fraud.

Having said this it's not going to sell well with the name "larvae" in the title hence my suggestion of Fossilized Caddis Fly.

So finegemdesigns you don't know me and I don't know you but basically you calling me names.  I don't appreciated.  I do this because I have fun doing it.  I don't do it as a business and I have never sold from my collection.  I also don't believe everything I read, just because you read it on the internet doesn't make it true.

I'm not calling anyone names, just stating an obvious fact. The act of selling this as palm root while still knowing it isn't is an act of fraud by definition.
If you don't ever do this then you are good.
