Holy crap what a monster!
Mounted the used wheel i got from MIA, holy crap it EATS rocks!
I wore down a crappy obsidian to dress the face of the grinding wheel (as per instructions after showing it to my neighbor glen)
He said wear down a large chunk of crap obsidian, it will dress the worn areas and make it eat anything you put to it for lunch, so i did.
My imperial jasper basically bounces off my 180 grit,
I set some to the worn 80, oh i love it!
Going to be awesome for shaping cabs!

Cutting!? im grinding rocks away from now on lol!
Hmm, i should go out and make a pendant with the teanaway and see how the wheel likes that hard stuff.
it bounced off my wheel before, i bet this one eats it too.

now, with a harsher grit wheel. I can tear into a rock or slab and grind away the extra rough faster than i can usually cut it away with a trim saw.
Like with the pepples i collect panning gold.

I am going to have to start dopping up many many preforms from now on, get my overall shape and then move to the finer grits, this beast gets HUNGRY! :coffee1: :coffee1:
