Rules:
1) Cab must be made by you.
2) Cab must be made within the time period of this contest. NO pulling old cabs from your storage baskets!
3) As long as the basic shape is considered a cab it's golden. You can enter intarsias, carved top cabs such as cameos, cabbed beads, etc. After all, this is the OUTRAGEOUS cab contest! Pull out the stops and give us the best you have!
4) One entry per person please!
5) Please show photos of your slabs and preforms if you can so we can see your thought process and how you did things.
6) No finished jewelry pieces. Just the cab.
7) Cab sets are OK.

OK, I'll kick this one off. I haven't been cutting rock much this summer but I got a chance to burn some hours at the wheels yesterday. As promised I cut some of the slabs that I won in the contest a couple months back. So I decided it was only fitting to use one of these cabs for my next contest entry. So here it is.

Here we go! Lost track of time and almost forgot to enter. Here is a moss agate with water marks, the top half the stone was full of dentrites. I thought the pattern was kinda neat. What do you think.

I started to make a cab with my new imperial purchase, but these new dawgs we got took all my time over the weekend.

If there is a need, I started doing themed "challenge" contests for another forum that I could do here... I don't do prizes currently unless someone wants to send a prize to someone.
If there is interest and noone is picking them up on this forum I can surely do the same.
