I thought this was jasper, but it was too big to bring home in one piece. I also wanted to see if it was good enough to stash in the bushes to have packlithic come get it. I whacked on it for a while and nothing happened. I got a little worried because jasper should have broken, as hard as I was hitting it. After a while a small piece came off and shockingly, the rock was bluish white inside. Now I really whacked it, because I was a little ticked off. And a big piece came off and it was pure limestone. Oh well.

Judging by the outside of it, I would have thought it a Jasper too. That is some weird deposits on the outside to make it look like a Jasper! :icon_sunny:

Haha! Good thing Packlithic didn't haul it home before you whacked on it. :LOLOL:

Depending on the poundage it would have been no big deal for Packlithic.
