Just want to give a head's up to anyone that might be interested in adding a cast piece for competition in a new casting book.

Thanks for the post! I don't cast but I know others here do.

So, I do have a question about competitions. I noticed the competition category is for friendly ones run on this forum. I mentioned the casting one I ran into here because it seemed a good fit. But there are others that I would like to bring up and I'm not sure the best place to do so. In the category where it is a fit? In the competition section? Advice would be most welcome, thanks.

Ice, I'd put it in the category the competition is for. Like this one is in the Gold, Silver, etc. category. I think that's the best way to do it. :headbang:

Except that what is in the link isn't really a competition.
You are submitting work to a Jury and they decide what to put into the book. You aren't competing for a prize except perhaps for notoriety.
The competitions category was not set up for this sort of thing, it's only for forum competitions.
