Title: I took home an FMG Gold!

So the seed bead competition has always been elusive.  Five years in a row I have entered.  Then this year something amazing happened - I was selected to go to semi-finals.
Well...

I Took home a Gold medal!   :headbang: :toothy10: :thumbsup: :blob1: :glasses9:

The main stone is a cabochon cut by the awesome Krystee, goddess of Agate and Obsidian!

Thanks everyone!  I was about to give up on the seed bead category because it just seemed like it was near impossible to get anyplace, and then BAM!   :thumbsup:

Thanks guys, I'm flying on cloud nine!
I guess it just shows that perseverance pays off!   :thumbsup:

Now I have to start planning for the Metals contest for 2015, which is the next one I will enter.  I took a gold in that one this year as well, so we shall see what I do to up the bar for next year!

The Success pages they do for all artists that enter contests.  You don't have to do a page but they do highly encourage it.

I was going to try to enter the Saul Bell Competitions for 2015, but their deadline is this October 3rd, and with the move taking place right now I don't have the time to finish and enter a piece.
