Lately I have been enjoying making more complex cabs that involve carving activities. This one is my latest one. It a Royal Aztec Lace Agate that is 3-1/2" tall. My wife says it looks like a seal sitting on a rock. I was just shaping it to remove the small fracture and pits, not to make an image.

One of my favorite Agates. Have not seen this material for sale in any of the normal outlets. Got my last stash in an antique rock shop in the Nebraska
grasslands in 1985.
