  This material is from a Rhyolite outcrop I came across below the old agate claim.

Nice stone.  A friend of mine pointed out to me that rhyolite is just not a sexy name.  You have to call it something else to generate interest.  I love the diversity of patterns and colors that rhyolites show, especially when infiltrated with those milky quartz/agate streaks.

The last one is definitely a pocket rock !! I mean....you all carry rocks in yer pockets right ?
