Beautiful work. Is this Jeff and Linda Nespers collection? I really like their Agate suites.

Yes, it is The Nespers display. All are great pieces.

Every now and then I break down and buy slabs from them. It is getting harder to find really good Montana. Unless you live on the Yellowstone. I have some Nesper slabs squirreled away for a rainy day. :)

yes I know what you mean. I bought a 5 Gallon bucket  of potatoes from "Kathy's Agates" when we took a trip there. It must have been 60 pounds, and at the time only $47.00 for second grade material. She had pallets full of buckets all sorted from tumbling to number one grade. In her office she had cards full of cabs that she has cut in the  Orient. 1985 seems a long time ago, but I am down to the bottom of the bucket.

Absolutely gorgeous. Always great to see when she comes up with new designs.

Not sure if they are the same folks that sell at the Quartzsite pow wow. Their carvings were absolutely amazing and sweet folks. I bought some great rough that was below their needs but great for cabs.  I went to take a picture of their display so I could show my wife and they said no out of fear of people copying their works.  Would be kind of hard for anyone to do that because of the randomness of dendritic inclusions but I respected their request and only took memories and my purchases.  Crazy talent to do the Montana to the level these people do!  Grasshopper not ready < reference to old kung-fu show for those unfamiliar
