Any ideas on how to improve it here. I'm fine other sites. :icon_scratch:

It's loading for me just fine. Try deleting your browser cache and see if that doesn't help. :dontknow:

Cache was pretty full. It's empty now and I restarted Firefox. It still took over a minute to pull up the reply screen. :Digging:

I'm on Firefox on Windows 10. It loads super fast for me.
I suggest a few things to help your problem.
I hear "slow" and the first thing my brain goes to is spyware....
Computers with Spyware/viruses tend to run slower, especially web browsers. Run antiviral/antispyware, reboot your computer.
If that doesn't fix the problem, look to see what other windows/tabs/websites are open at the same time. I have found through Experience that Facebook is really bad at slowing things down. It's apparently very easy to get a hold of corrupted data packages on Facebook while looking at videos etc as that will slow my browser down to a crawl - heck I've seen snails move faster. If you see the same correlation happening for you, make sure you are not logged into Facebook in another window/tab while on the forum. Sometimes to fix the problem Facebook started, I have to close down my browser and reopen it before surfing further.
Hope that helps.

The other thing to note...
Which Windows OS are you using?
This site is optimized for The most current Windows Operating systems 8.0 and higher along with the most recent MacOS.
People using 7 or XP or anything earlier might have problems interacting with the site due to software conflicts.

Windows 7, with up to date anti-virus. It only seems to happen here. I'll try different browsers. I do keep several pages pinned for easier access. :icon_jokercolor: :whip2:

I'm on Win7 and I use the Chrome browser. Its super fast for me here.
I never keep pages open that I'm not currently using. Sometimes I open multiple pages when I have a need for it, but as soon as they are not in use I close them again. Ones that I need to access to regularly or want to remember are bookmarked but never left open.

Chrome is better, I'll use it for this site.
Side note: Frontier-Yahoo is having issues nation wide. :blob1:

also try hitting your start, control panel, network connection, repair connection.
It clears out the crud buildup in your connection and also reboot your modem, i do this weekly.

Please talk with Phil and let him know how you are doing it as he has been unable to upload photos or links and he is on Windows 7.
Older operating systems and this site tend to have problems even when the browser is up to date. Not much we can do about it as it is something coded into the physical software that runs the forum.

im on XP all the time, I have no problems at all.

Hi All
Sorry but I will try to contact Phil when I can. He is having computer problem that will mess every thing up.

Window 7 google chrome

Hints keep anti virus up to date.
Download free ccleaner it is good for general clean up. do not use the registry clean function!!! it will mess op your comp.
For more deep scans that will see more than your antivirus i use the free spybot program

Try switching from dial-up to cable. Worked for me.
