Plan a weekend of mining and whoever is supposed to go with me backs out for some reason Ord the other.
Pixxing me off to no end!!!!
Spent day and night last weekend and through the week preparing and.building just to have my buddy tell me labor and industries didn't pay him, can't go.
Everyone close to me knows of my spine issues, I can't go alone.
Pissed.

im going solo in the early AM, there HAS to be atleast one other member up there.
If i have to i will sleep in my exploder instead of the tent.
Bears and four legged Cougars up there and BLM & forest services have burn bans in ALL washington state forests.
Not that i would light a fire in a tinderbox anyhow, but a small fire along the creek for a couple hot dogs would be cool.
Taking my little propane grill for cooking dogs.

Sorry to hear and feel your pain, don't have any collecting buddies down here anymore and hate going alone. Wife won't let me anyway once she found out I went out alone and a dump wall caved in on me and covered me to my chest and almost broke my leg. If I hadn't seen the wall shift out of my periferal vision I wouldn't have jumped to the side in time. Always good to have a buddy to set the grave marker lol.

Sorry your friends all flake on you Phish. If I couldn't go alone I'd be screwed. No one ever goes with me. I spend countless days and nights alone in remote areas. It has always been that way and always will be. I will be doing it again for 5 days over Labor Day weekend. My wife is used to it. She just says "Be careful, see you when you get home" and for the most part prefers not to know what I do while I am gone. She knows there are inherent dangers to being alone out there, but she also knows to try and stop me from doing it would be pointless. When I am out there alone it is kind of like my church.

I end up out in the boonies by myself a lot. It drives my wife nuts. I got a Spot Connect personal satellite locater. So I can get emergency help and I can send short text messages. I would suggest that anyone is going out in remote areas to have one

Come on out, just give me enough warning so I can schedule my work around it and let me know where you want to go. Running out to central Nevada next week. But going to gather choke cherries.(mmmm choke cherry jam) I will try to get a few rocks too

I ended up getting all my stuff packed anyway and made him go.
he wasnt going to go because he couldnt afford fuel in his motorhome.
I told him to get his butt to my house and go with me.
he got some nice gold once i got the dredge operating good.
i built my own jet with plumbing pipe and a coke bottle for a jet to create the vacuum lol!

This was from that hole (the whole bank) shoveling and sluicing. I haven't done my final cleanup on the dredging yet.

my guess is we are processing a bucket every five minutes on the dredge. i really cant wait to see my bling bling.

That is shotgun pellets, also known as LEAD.
