Title: "Pea pod " variolite
Post by: lithicbeads on September 30, 2014, 08:28:28 PM

I needed a relaxing stone tonight so I cut a variolite that was from rough that was a gift last summer. I cannot get to the river they are in , this color is quite specific to a few streams, so a friend was kind enough to get me one.

I beg to differ. Once that beautiful stone gets ripe it will be a banana. Just wait and see.

Beautiful Variolite and I love the shape. It does remind me of a pea pod!
