I did good. I came back with 40 pounds less of rocks than I went there with. That's hard to do. I did spend more on rocks than I sold. That's very easy to do. :glasses9:

:LOLOL: did you buy some good rock?
-
I got a nice piece of Tyuyamunite. Don't worry, I keep it safe in a little plastic box. I got 3 pieces of aragonite. Also a nice piece of adamite. And a water included smoky quartz. I got a few others, but I can't remember the names.
I traded a bucket of tumbling rough, a mix of many different rock pieces for some of the above. The bucket was about 30 pounds, or more. The guy that got the bucket was going through it after we traded and was pulling out some common opals, some fancier opals, just small pieces, and a bunch of other nice stuff. He was very happy with the trade. Since I got the bucket for free, I did pretty good too.

Maybe you should put it in a lead box. Or you may start glowing green. Isn't that radioactive?
-
Yes, it's radioactive, but it's not so concentrated that it's harmful..... just don't lick your fingers after handling it.
I am going to get a Geiger counter for my cell phone. They're about $35. Might be worth it to see if it works.
-
Can you please let us know if that works? It seems like everything currently on the market for detecting radiation has to be calibrated every minute and also costs Over $100 and is bulky. I would be amazed if that really works!
-
I'd be amazed if it works too. The price has come down a bit.
