Does anyone know where I can get a photo or advertisement for this machine? I just got back from picking it up at my deceased uncle's place and I'm going to rebuild it and donate it for the auction at our annual show. It was the machine that I learned how to make a cab on in 1958.

Hi Bobby: I too learned on my grandpa's HP (Model B-12) way back in the late 1970's. He taught me the trim saw, cabbing and very basic silversmithing when I was 12; great memories. I turned away his offer to acquire his entire rock shop up ~15 years ago, and have since acquired my own identical model on Craig's List. I am happy to say my brother did take his 18 inch Royal saw and that is now in my garage, in use at least a few times every week and I really feel that connection with the history and the sounds and smell. I wanted to leave this thought for you, after you finish rebuilding it, consider playing with it a bit; you might even decide to hang onto it old times sake...just sayin'! In the event you do post it for auction, some lucky soul will get the chance to gear up in a great hobby.

Thank you for your input. I still have 3 - 4 month's to work on refurbishing the machine. I'm not sure of what generation this machine is. It has two dials on the front that allow the user to engage the belt for the saw or to do the same for the lapidary arbor and to engage both at the same time. This is an advantage so the saw isn't running all the time that the lapidary arbor is running.
