These are a couple hearts I cut from some Coyamito rough some time ago. Seeing all the hearts in this months competition reminded me of that these have been some of the only hearts I have ever cut.

Those are awesome! I have never cut a heart shaped stone. Guess I need to get that off my bucket list. :icon_sunny:

Looking great.
Concur with fossil; the last one is as beautiful as it is unusual.
Combine that with excellent workmanship and sytrong colour, and you certainly have a winner.

I really like the black background photo. The contrast makes the cab jump out at you. You also captured the patterns in the cabs and presented them dramatically!

Thanks so much. It doesn't hurt having material like Coyamito with it's dramatic patterns. Wish I could afford to cut it more often. Ps Michael, what was the pink material on the knife in your latest pics? Rhodochrosite?

Confused I am. I am used to the Sonora Sunrise being the Green and Red I have never seen a pink.

It comes in orange and near pink too....
