It came to mind a little bit ago..
It's been 10 years since I first got the bug to cut opal, and met some amazing and like minded people.
Robin took on the challenge of mentoring me, and got me started with some rough that turned out quite well in some cases. :)
Vince and Amanda have always been around to answer questions on various subjects that they know well also.
IceOpal (forgive me ma'am, but I have forgotten your name :( ) let me use her Lapidary equipment one day to cut a stone on wheels and not my Inland, and also spent quite a while answering questions too.
Lots of help along the way from great people, and I know that the above are not the only ones.
So, on this sort of 10 year anniversary type occasion, just want to say thanks :D

You're welcome Jon. :icon_sunny:

It's been 10 years, already? Damn, time flies. IceOpal is Carol. She hasn't been around in a long time. I need to email her to see what she's been up to.
The journey has been fun, but we have more of the journey still to explore before it ends! :WEEEE:

Yeah, it sure doesn't seem like it could've been that long already!
Carol also helped me transition from collector to cutter. Robin, of course, is still teaching me things - not so much at the bench now, but in all the other areas of my life that still need a little better "polish".
Glad you're still around.
