Its nice to just polish a specimen after cabbing a bunch like I have been. Like a quick trip to the mountains its nice to get away for a bit to "let loose" :-) The first is a nice limb section with a bit of color and really nice pattern. I found it in a pile of wood in lithicbeads yard last week while snooping around for new rough to cut. Looked nice so I polished both ends(only one side photographed) and the other is a piece I picked up for a dollar at last month's everett rock show for a buck! Not the best wood pattern but the opal took quite the polish(they both did!)

Nice polish on the blue forest wood. Some of this material is absolutely amazing.

That's a very pretty round, grats on the find. You might need to get a better polish on it though, I couldn't see my reflection in the picture LOL. Nice polish and shows what great quality the wood is.
