Nice. I'll admit to having hounded along road cuts, though the police take a dim view along highways. Been through several embankments in that area, but mostly found agates.

Interesting road cut material.  If the silicate content is high enough to get a high polish on the cabachons, then you scored off that discovery.  Slab and cab some.
