found a listing campgrounds from the site:    allstays.com   free info unless more detailed info is required.   
super good site if looking for camps, lodgings, rest areas, truck stops and so much more.                 

for boondocking try:  boondockerswelcome.com/stateListing   free but small donation is welcome
i spent an hour doing a mock trip to the east coast.  the free information gather is detailed.
 
for rv dump stations and more try:  rvdumps.com  fee?

for interstate rest areas try: interstaterestareas.com   free info

for national parks try:  thegreatestroadtrip.com/national-parks   
free info unless more detailed info is required


if any one else has any ideas to add to this list please let me know.

i'm also interested in rockhounding sites in: united states, canada and mexico.  i think this may end up being a topic of its own :cheesy:
