Title: Cabs From Michael Hoover's Box
Post by: gemfeller on October 01, 2017, 09:03:40 PM
Some weeks back Michael Hoover offered some of his rough slabs to a newbie who wanted rough.  She didn't accept the offer so several members, including me, lined up for them.  I was expecting a SFRB and was surprised to receive a MFRB jam-packed with all sorts of labeled materials including jades and nice materials from many locations.  Thanks Michael!

I haven't had a lot of time for cabbing lately but thought I'd post the first few cabs I've cut from that material.  All four are from a little parcel of Moroccan agate, and there are many other slabs that will keep me busy for a long time.

Moroccan agate is sure interesting with about 30 different variations and all polish like glass.  I bought over 500 pounds of it......
