Lucern varasite
I haven’t posted any cabs lately. I thought that this one was interesting. Because of the grey host rock I had to stabilize it. I used bond optic epoxy

Nice!  Do you like the Bond Optic?  I have some that we haven't tried yet and I'm interested in what you think.  Thanks!

In is symilar to hxtal but a little thicker and 1/3 the price. I have used it on a couple of spheres that were so pitted they looked frosted. I just did a Australian crazy lace that I am getting ready to finish we will se how it turns out

How does it work? Cook it like opticon and then a final high grit wheel?

I warm the stone up under a desk lamp. Turn the lamp off and apply the bond optic or hxtal. It is pretty thin and takes a long time to set up.  I let it set all night than put the lamp back on to speed up the cure time.
