can i use oil in my saw on stabilized turquoise?
-
You can, but I wouldn't. The mineral oil will degrade some treatments. Water is always best for turquoise.

I was cutting large slabs of stabilized material and had no problem with mineral oil in my saw. That said, if you are cutting small pieces on a trim saw I would certainly use water.

HOW did i manage to rename Turquoise to Turpuoise lol!

Must have been one of those naturally medicated nights after digging ALOT of holes for very little gold
