Title: Spinoff from lapidary

In looking for new ways to use stone I got into making knives so I could use stone handles.  The other day I was delivering stuff to the local Habitat store and noticed an old chefs knife that had been ground to uselessness.  I picked it up for a quarter and took it home to play with.  It is a Hoffritz but now it is a utility blade.

 looks great. Now take the scales off and put some jade on it
