Not nearly as hard to see the sponge from this specimen.  Some of the others look like they could almost resemble stromatolites.  Great specimens you are finding!

I have some stromatolites as well from Southern Nevada. They look quite a bit different.

This is a sponge though. You can see the opening at the top typical of many sponges. It was also found in the same location where the ball sponges and coral fossils are abundant.
