Title: Replace Text As You Type
Post by: vitzitziltecpatl on December 09, 2014, 06:44:22 PM
This forum is driving me nuts with the way it replaces text as you type if I try to edit a post while in the process of composing it. Doesn't seem to do this every time, but in some cases if I want to change a word in the middle of an earlier part of the post it starts deleting the text that follows.

Could someone please look into this.

Thanks.

that's a problem with your computer, mine does it sometimes also. a series of buttons was hit on your keyboard.
Mine does it when animals (cats and the stupid dog) jump up on my desk to look out the window.

Heres a complete discussion about it.
Mine stops after i reboot lol!

actually< hit the INSERT key and try again.

Insert inserts text, if insert it hit somehow it shuts insert off, it deletes and relaces text.
Its a word/office thing.

It's the bane of that section of the keyboard if you forget about it; like hitting the caplock key by accident:(

Hmmm. Wasn't in the neighborhood of the insert key (been touch typing since high school - VERY long time ago) but I'll keep my eye on that sucker from now on! Thanks.
