I was sold a slab and told it was Morrisonite. I just am not positive if it is Morrisonite. I do like it.... help please ID

I can't say for sure, but it sure looks more like Polychrome than Morrisonite to me. I've never cut Polychrome, but I have Morrisonite and I've never seen Morrisonite with that type of pattern in it. I did look up images of Polychrome and there were a few that looked very similar to the colors and patterns in your stone.

Definately a B Grade Morrisonite. I've never seen Polychrome Jasper (also known as Misty Mountain Jasper) with these colors or patterns.

I second the ID of B Grade or even C grade Morrisonite.

Well, thanks for the response, I think. The pain of sharing. I am going with Polychrome …………. Just googled pictures of Polychrome again and the colors are so correct. for C grade crap LOL

My 2 cents. Grading system AAA AA A B C? it is a great pattern and obviously takes a high polish like the other top grades. Sometimes you get a AAA cab out of mine run. Very nice cab regardless of the grade it came from.
