Title: silver blue covering
Post by: Windenzee on July 26, 2019, 11:53:00 PM
Strange question, the blue coating covering the silver when you purchase it, Do you remove it before cutting the silver or after?
Is this a personal preference or not?
Thanks for your views

Hi Karen I tend to leave it on to help stop getting scratches on the rest of the sheet . Dave

Leave it on if you can until you're going to solder.  As Dave said, it protects against scratches.

Thanks folks for the reply. It is what I have been doing but just thought I would get the viewpoints of others.
